I can't stress enough the importance of protecting your skin from the sun and harmful UV rays. Skin damage can and will lead to 'liver spots' also known as hyperpigmentation as well increased aging and wrinkles or worse cancer. Plus who wants the dreaded nickname of "Leather Skin"? Or to be confused as a Wayne Newton impersonator? Funny side note I lived in Las Vegas for like ever and saw Wayne around...he seriously needs to stay OUT of the sun! I'm Puerto Rican and he's DARKER THAN ME! That is NOT cute or normal!I remember spending so much time outside in the Vegas sun when I was little that I'd get really, really tan and my mom would ground me and make me stay inside for fear that I'd develop skin cancer like all good mom's do! Right?! Anyways I recently got the opportunity to try DDF's new Protect and Correct UV Moisturizer with SPF 15 ($58) and while I'm thrilled that they are incorporating sun protection into their products I have to say I was less than thrilled at the results.
I suffer from hyperpigmentaion or post-acne scarring so finding out that this daily moisturizer was supposed to help fade discoloration while protecting your skin from getting any worse made me extremely excited but after continued use my combination skin actually broke out ALL OVER and I never saw any fading of my scarring. It also claims to to make your skin look more 'radiant' but that comes in a form of some shimmery stuff that's in the lotion which made my skin look even worse. Not only had I broken out but now my already oily skin looked even more greasy and now it was full of glitter. Not what I expected from DDF. I was really disappointed after not seeing much results other than much needed sun protection and some moisturizing. Despite my disappointment with this product I STILL love and trust DDF. They offer plenty of other products that DO work for my skin type. I think the moisturizer would work on someone who didn't already have oily skin because I know that I def need oil-free EVERYTHING! Try it out for yourselves and see if it works and if you've already tried this product let me know how it worked for you...I'd love to know!
P.S. If your reading this Mr. Las Vegas pick up some DDF...YOU NEED IT!

Oh no I'm so sorry to hear about your abysmal results, but you're still gorgeous.
I know me too! :( Thank you love!
